
Trevor Zeck joined Longview in March 2011 from the Privy Council Office in Ottawa. With a background in government, policy, and public affairs, Trevor's experience is in distilling complex information into clear themes and narratives, and providing communications strategies to address competing interests and diverse stakeholders. At Longview Trevor has written keynote speeches for CEOs, provided ongoing corporate communications advice to large, publicly traded companies, and participated in a number of mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Trevor has developed profile-building strategies for senior corporate executives, and prepared forward-looking briefs anticipating the public relations outcomes of major business transactions.
Prior to joining Longview, Trevor spent almost ten years working on economic issues with the federal government. He was part of the small team which supported the work of the Competition Policy Review Panel, a group of five CEOs chaired by Red Wilson which issued an influential report on Canadian competitiveness and foreign investment policies. Trevor began his career in London, England at the European headquarters of Ogilvy, one of the world's largest public relations agencies. He holds a BA (With Distinction) in communications from the University of Calgary, and an MA in Global Political Economy from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University.
